A Golden Tail
Hello, My name is Anna Zive and I`d like you to know a little about my family and me. I`d like to say first and foremost that we love Christ and we love serving our community. We strive to be Christ's hands and feet in everything we do.
I was born and raised in Wilmington, NC and my Husband (Matt) is from Sacramento CA. We are the parents of 5 children, ages ranging from 6-24 yrs old. Matt and I spent 10 plus years in Louisiana where he served at Barksdale Air Force Base. Once he got out of the Air Force he took a job with the post office which led us to the beautiful region of Northeastern NC. As for me, I've been an RN for 12 years and have specialized in many different areas of nursing but fell in love with home health. I love serving people outside the hospital walls, in their element where I can see more of their needs and be able to better serve those needs. In our transition to NC from LA I took a home health 13 week travel assignment in Cotter, AR where I met my now dear friend Linda Denmark.
Ms Linda has been breeding dogs since 2007, and she is where I bought Cotter. I have always had a profound love for dogs and have had different breeds throughout my life but have always been in love with goldendoodles due to their obviously adorable looks, hypoallergenic coat and fun loving, "can I be your friend" temperament.
When we got Cotter I knew I wanted to bring the joy I got from him to others. After contemplating for months about the possibility of starting a breeding program I reached out to Ms Linda about the potential of selling me another puppy and mentoring me in her ways. With a twist of faith Ms Linda let me know that she would be retiring and that I may be better off with Jada (her incredibly beautiful, gentle Standard Poodle). I agreed and couldn`t believe the trust and opportunity she was giving me. So with the help of my husband and my dear friend Linda Denmark of Doodle Dawgs, Atlantic Coast Doodles was born.
I'd like to say Ms Linda Denmark is incredibly wise in many areas of life with breeding dogs to the highest standard one of her many talents. She has taught me more than I ever thought I could know. I am forever grateful to her and her wisdom.
As for our program, we strive to produce puppies to the quality that Ms Linda has all these years. We hope to produce puppies for families, therapy and service dogs alike. We look forward to working with you to find the puppy that's the perfect fit for everything you could want in a dog.
